I congratulate and applaud the companies racing to find a solution to this ongoing problem. If not for the actions of scientists and doctors around the world, we would be long gone. We will prevail, but it takes all of us to do our part even if we do not feel we can do much at all during this time. Ignore the politicization, ignore conspiracies and ignorance. Trust in science and good will to guide us forward, and we will succeed at returning to a semblance of a 'normal' within our lives. Now, to all those inclined to post negative responses that this comment will inevitably receive: you are your own moral agent. Even if you disagree with me, know that this will come to pass in time. Not as soon as anyone would like (trust me, this is a war of attrition in lockdown) but that's beside the point. Take time to better yourselves as people. Open your mind to different things, take time to reflect on yourself and take pride in the person you are, and who you want your future self to be. See the world differently. Connect to your family, your friends. Develop new connections, and solidify the bonds you already have to one another. There's always a light at the end of every dark tunnel, and come Hell or High Water, we will get through it.
